Jan. 9 – Don’t Let Profits be a Roll of the Dice – – This month’s Lean Six Sigma Learning Network, led by Mike Willett, will include a live simulation comparing the financial performance of five common manufacturing philosophies and improvement methods. Plan now to be a part of this simulation which is features a value stream with 4 processes, each with an operator, a supervisor over the line, and an accountant that keeps track of the data. Mike Willett has been a Productivity Project Manager for the Center for Industrial Research & Service (CIRAS) since 1995. Prior to joining CIRAS, Mike had 20 years of manufacturing experience including positions as Vice President, Operations & Production Management, Quality Control, and Manufacturing Engineering.
