Iowa City Learning Network – August
Aug. 28, Coralville – Six Thinking Hats
This month’s network is an introduction to a practical, yet powerful method of making decisions and exploring new ideas. People around the world have adopted this unique approach to conceptual thinking called, Six Thinking Hats, developed by Dr. Edward de Bono. This simple tool can help you and your team develop clearer thinking, as well as improved communication and greater creativity. Learn how parallel thinking is demonstrated by ‘wearing’ six different colored hats and how it can boost more focused and deliberate decision-making.

Location: State Hygienic Lab, 2490 Crosspark Rd, Coralville, IA 52241

The Quality Learning Network in Iowa City uses networking time to discuss many issues around individual and organizational learning. Topics vary depending on the needs of the attendees. Flexibility and a willingness to learn are key principles of this group. Bring your concerns, experiences, and issues to this group, and we will find a way to make it a future topic.
