• medical device design quality engineering

• 3D structural design
• blueprint creation
• machine shop router creation for component manufacturing
She combines the above experience with her knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and ISO 9001 standards to assist clients with reducing variability, increasing quality and generating cost savings.
Katie has implemented ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems enterprise wide, has assisted in developing processes and procedures in compliance with ISO 13485 and 9001 standards, and has completed first, second, and third party audits for such companies as:

• Bodine MFG

Katie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Manufacturing Technology with dual majors in Design and Automation from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a Certified Quality Engineer through the American Society for Quality. In her spare time, Katie is an avid Steelers fan and accomplished wood worker. As a matter of fact, she had two woodworking pieces on display at the Del Mar Fair in San Diego, California sporting blue ribbons for first place honors in two categories; clocks and case goods. Katie places high priority on spending time with her son, family and friends. She feels that success is more than money and prestige.
