The Iowa Quality Center Announces the 2016 Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence Award Recipients
Organizations Honored for Leadership and Management Practices
Marion, Iowa – The Iowa Quality Center (IQC), administrator of the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence, has announced the 2016 Gold, Silver and Tier 3 Leadership honorees of Iowa’s Baldrige-based state awards.
Each year the Iowa Quality Center and the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence board of directors distinguish role model organizations in education, manufacturing, nonprofit, healthcare and business.
Gary Nesteby, Executive Director of the Iowa Quality Center, said the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (IRPE) honors organizations that complete a rigorous organizational assessment leading to sustainability and maintaining a future focus on performance excellence. “The Baldrige framework, used in 39 state programs, is globally recognized as the most rigorous framework in the world,” said Nesteby. “We’re very proud to honor these worthy award recipients.”
