Design of Experiments
APRIL 06, 2017
Who Should Attend?
Design Engineers, Test Engineers, Process and Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers and Marketing Personnel.
Why Design of Experiments?
Multiple variables can impact a given product's performance or shape the outcome of a particular process, but it's not always easy to figure out which elements will have the strongest effect. Design of Experiments (DOE) is a proven methodology that uses statistical analysis to determine which variables have the greatest influence.
Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
CIRAS, in partnership with the Iowa Quality Center is offering a one dayworkshop to introduce participants to three types of DOE processes. In the workshop, participants will learn how DOE's are set up, how they work, and how to analyze and interpret the results. Participants will do an experimental exercise to collect data, understand the results, and using the DOE processes, take corrective actions to optimize the output.
